Proyectar el cambio
MUESTRA AUDIOVISUAL INTERNACIONAL itinerante PROYECTAR EL CAMBIO.

PROYECTAR EL CAMBIO es un proyecto de gestión cultural-audiovisual desarrollado en el marco de nuestras investigaciones en torno al concepto de Humanidades ecológicas (https://ecohumanidades.webs.upv.es/).
Nos proponemos reflexionar sobre los retos planteados por la crisis ecosocial multifactorial, centrándonos en el papel del arte y, en concreto, del medio audiovisual, en el necesario cambio de cosmovisión requerido para enfrentarla.
La convicción que impulsa esta iniciativa es la necesidad de poner en contacto la problemática ecosocial con el público, pero huyendo de los estándares del discurso hegemónico que instrumentaliza lo “verde” para vendernos una sostenibilidad asociada a más oportunidades de negocio.
Por ello, las obras que forman parte de este proyecto tienen formatos y narrativas muy variados: pequeños vídeos de carácter documental, activista, performático, ensayos audiovisuales, poemas visuales, cortos de animación, piezas de vídeo experimental, etc. Se proponen mostrar aquello que a menudo es intencionadamente tapado, minimizado o manipulado, desde una libertad creativa fuera de los estándares de las industrias culturales. Estas obras señalan que otra manera de ver y de vivir es posible, y sacando a la luz aquellas cuestiones que queremos que estén en la primera línea de nuestras reflexiones y exigencias.
Aportan así un grano de arena más a la apuesta de la Humanidades ecológicas por un cambio de cosmovisión cada vez más necesario si queremos hacer frente a un presente y un futuro que tiene que asumir modificaciones sistémicas claras.
PROJECTING THE CHANGE is a cultural-audiovisual management project developed within the framework of our research into the concept of Ecological Humanities (https://ecohumanidades.webs.upv.es/).
We propose to reflect on the challenges posed by the multifactorial ecosocial crisis, focusing on the role of art and, specifically, of the audiovisual medium, in the necessary change of worldview required to confront it.
The conviction that drives this initiative is the need to bring the ecosocial problem into contact with the public, but fleeing from the standards of the hegemonic discourse that instrumentalises the ‘green’ to sell us a sustainability associated with more business opportunities.
For this reason, the works that form part of this project have very varied formats and narratives: small videos of a documentary, activist, performative nature, audiovisual essays, visual poems, animation shorts, experimental video pieces, etc. They aim to show what is often intentionally covered up, minimised or manipulated, from a creative freedom outside the standards of the cultural industries. These works show that another way of seeing and living is possible, and bring to light those issues that we want to be at the forefront of our reflections and demands.
They thus contribute one more grain of sand to the ecological humanities’ commitment to a change of worldview that is increasingly necessary if we are to face a present and a future that must assume clear systemic modifications.
